BRAGS ! Kaya finished up May by completing her AKC NA and NAJ agility titles with first place for all but one of the 6 legs! At the same Freestyle competition in April, old man Malinois Clipper completed his "Sassy Senior" Beginner Freestyle title. He had a very good time, dancing with me to Garth Brooks' "Friends in Low Places.!" Also in March, Cami completed her Rally Advanced title (RA) with a nearly perfect score, marred only by a last minute lunge at the same toys that nearly derailed Kaya! She is now back in Open obedience training and we are relieved to be able to start Tracking again soon! The snow is gone and the ankle deep mud should dry out soon...
RENNI completed her MondioRing Brevet title on October 23, 2010. Visit the US MondioRing Association Website. She is the first Belgian Groenendael in the U.S. to earn a Mondioring title. (Several Groenendaels ARE titled in French Ringsport.) KAYA - Near the end of August 2010, KAYA completed her Novice Jumpers Preferred (NJP) title with 3 first places, our FIRST weekend out in agility. She is an awesome jumper! She also went Best of Opposite Sex (BOS) over 5 other bitches at our Midwest Laekenois Specialty Match held the same weekend. Photos coming soon!
Cami & Whiskey's "veggie sisters" Tater and Beanie - owned by Kathy Champine, completed their RN titles at the same event, and Tater placed all 3 days in Novice A obedience with spectacular heeling and very nice scores to earn a first CD for both Kathy and Tater! She was High Scoring Laekenois all 3 days, beating 2 Novice B dogs. Her Rally scores were also very good! Kaya RN,RA,NJP CGC Whiskey RN,HT,PT,CGC
Kaya is continuing with agility, obedience and musical freestyle.
In March 2011 - Kaya completed her Rally Excellent Title (RE) with scores in the 90s, despite tempting TOYS placed in the ring at the offset figure 8 exercise. In April, she completed her Beginner Musical Freestyle title in the off-leash B class, placing 1st out of 4 on both days. Her music is an Irish Medley.
